Hello World!

Hi everyone!

My name is Anne, but many of you might know me as Emily. I’m 24 years old and currently living in central Maine. I’m also a grad student at SNHU, working toward my Master’s in Communication with a concentration in Marketing and New Media.

I created this blog to gain hands-on experience, build a portfolio, and hopefully take my first steps into the professional world of marketing. My goal for the next year is to join a marketing team, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.

As for what this blog will be about—I’m still figuring that out! I think it’ll be fun to explore different topics with you. I’ve always been passionate about various forms of media—books, movies, magazines, and social media—so those will likely pop up here.

This summer is packed with experiences I can’t wait to share. I have six concerts lined up (I’ve already been to two!), I’m seeing a play, and later this summer, I’ll be heading to a Renaissance fair.

There are also things I struggle with, and I might open up about those as I grow and create content. I plan to post once a week, alternating between blog posts and videos.
